The project "Stimulation of participation in European projects of SMEs in textile-clothing field" (acronym F2F) is part of the interests of the national and international RDI scientific community in the stimulation of the technology transfer and the encouragement and support of the participation of SMEs in the research activity, in the national and European programme. The general objective of the project is to stimulate the competitiveness of the SMEs in textile – clothing in EU – MED (European Union and partner countries in the Euro-Mediterranean partnership), extended, with the purpose of a better approach, cooperation and participation in future European research and innovation initiatives.
The general objective of the Romanian partner, INCDTP, is to increase the performance of SMEs in textile – clothing industry in Romania and their capacity to participate in projects in FP7 Programme, in view of an efficient absorption of the research results and increased competitiveness, more inter–connections between SMEs or groups of SMEs and other ETI (Economic Technological Intelligence) structures in order to promote the creation of networks and clusters.
