Project purpose:
The accomplishing of multifunctional technical textile materials meant for the protective clothing by using superior micro and nano-strucured polymers in the finishing processes, reversible thermo-chrome compositions, and fire-proofing and complex additive agents.

Objectives:
• the creating of the project documentation basis referring to: thermo-chrome textile compositions and structures that are functional at temperatures of up to 350o C; fireproofing compositions and multifunctional auxiliaries, microencapsulating methods, multifunctional textile technical textiles meant for the accomplishing of protective clothing; performance requirements for the protective clothing against thermal, biological risks, electromagnetic and electrostatic radiations;
• the elaboration of micro encapsulation methods of the specific active substances, the achievement and checking of the laboratory technology reproducibility;
• the elaborating of the optimum laboratory procedures and methods for the obtaining of the thermo-chrome compounds and thermo-chrome compositions, as well as the achieving and testing of the laboratory technology reproducibility;
• the elaborating of the optimum laboratory methods and procedures for the obtaining of the fireproofing agents and multifunctional auxiliaries, as well as the achieving and the testing of the laboratory technology reproducibility;
• the designing and accomplishing of multifunctional textile materials ( with thermo-chrome, fireproofing, antistatic microcapsules);
• the designing, accomplishing, experimenting and certifying of certain models of thermal, biological protection clothing against electromagnetic and electrostatic radiations;
• the ensuring of the technical and quality level of the products in conformity with the essential specific safety and health requirements;
• the increasing of the protective clothing product competitiveness by ensuring the functional and comfort performances imposed by the European Norms;
• the efficient using of the experience gained by the specialists from the partner organizations in the field of accomplishing protective clothing, as well as the material basis, having in view the accomplishing of new products, by means of performance technologies;
• the development of collaboration relations with potential beneficiaries;
• the implementation of the new strategies in the domain of multifunctional technical textiles for protective clothing;
• the dissemination of novelty elements resulted from the research done as part of the project;
• the demonstration of the functionality of new protective clothing models by obtaining the certificates in conformity with the essential requirements of security and labour health

Phase II/ Methods elaboration for introduction of new functionalities for technical textile materials and the scientifical designing of these materials

Phase V/ The experimentation of multifunctional textile materials and ME of protective clothing achieved
